    (IMO), the Chinese wanted the asset from day 1.

    I think they will get a foot hold (strategic stake) in Mbalam-Nabeba. The 15MTA of WPIOP sure ain't gonna give China the speaking rights that the NDRC was so gung ho about.

    Owning 100% of Sundance is useless to China is 50% of the assets to flogged off to say the Vale of this world.

    We'll see won't we.
