    "it don't matter who is in next they will have to grapple with falling revenues and rising costs". ... but it does matter in terms of how such debt/deficit and revenue is managed. the Libs past caused this critical matter to be enlarged by cutting taxes and spending madly. the evidence to the Lib se=pending madly is highlighted by the fact that the Labs were able to manage 2 surpluses on the same or less revenue simply by cutting absurd Lib spending programs.

    the forecast deficits cut in purely because of the fall in revenue due to the S3TCs that the Labs modified to share the benefit across all income levels. really the S3TCs should have been abolished. such a reduction in revenue at a time of critical economic factors, eg. the inflation problem, were dominating the economy.

    who/which party pisses the least against the wall (an Old Testament meme - "cursed is the man that pisseth against the wall") is currently the Labs.... the ones who wasted money the most were the last 9 years of LibNat govt.
