Because we've created a world where moronity trumps common sense?
From reading the article it looks like 'someone's' got their panties in a bunch because of the date 1788 which is when the whitefellas turned up and stuffed everything I guess?
So the real complaint is that 'Australia' wasn't (arguably) established in 1788...which is not racist in any way, it's just a matter of perspective.
But hey, if screaming pejoratives gets me attention every time I see something I don't like then I'm going to do that instead of enter into some kind of dialogue.
