A few quick facts re 1788

Prior to that date, the flag of Holland was already placed on what is now Australian soil. That by definition made the place Holland.

The name of the place was New Holland up until at least 1788.

On that basis, the settlement was seizing the land from the Dutch and so any claim by those who now fly a different flag should be against the Dutch.

I saw on a documentary that was sent around that researchers have discovered records of the first interaction with the native populations. The documentary said that a vessel went up a tributary and left provisions behind. When they came back, the provisions were gone. Some things just haven't changed.

When the First Fleet arrived on the continent and for every voyager before that also, there was no mention of any buildings higher than 1 story, in fact, no mention of any permanent buildings at all. There were no roads, no hospitals, no telegraph, no newspapers, no written language nor reticulated water.

History will show that EUROPEAN CULTURE put al of the infrastructure in place and for the most part, particularly up until the ANTI Christian policies were put in place, the sweat of the brow and life and limb that was spent to make the great nation was White Christian.

Land Rights for Aborigines is one thing, Taxing the descendants of those who built the nation to pay illegal aliens to invade is another.

On the Kokoda trail, some 2,000 Australian men held back the might of the Japanese march toward dissolving the great nation.

Over the last 50 years.... well that is another story now isn't it.

Good on the company for making T shirts. Even better if they were made in Australia.
