Of course putting 1788 on an Australia shirt is going to provoke criticism.
As usual few of you seem to be able to think straight.
Nothing to do with flying the flag or being patriotic. I'm very patriotic, I also happen to think that Australia is about more than British convicts.
Australia day is rubbish, I can't think of another country that celebrates an invasion.
Wear all the bogan crap you want but don't insult the indigenous population at the same time. It can't be that hard.
Anzac Day is much more meaningful.
