Have a read of the history of Anzac Day it is the commemoration of the invasion at Gallipoli, why do you think 10's of thousands of people travel to Gallipoli each year. It has been allowed to be used over the years to commemorate all ANZAC forces and those that died in all our wars, but ANZAC day is the commemoration of the invasion at Gallipoli in WW1 in 1915 of the Ottoman empire under the direction of Winston Churchill and the English Generals.
I have no problem with ANZAC day commemorations personally but you started talking about commemorating invasions because of Australia Day.
That just history and Im thinkin you should read that.
