This needs firstly to be put in perspective. The OT, which of course does not represent Christianity, is only a part of the religious reality of humankind. Christianity is only a part of the religious reality of humankind. Call G.d what you will, Jehovah is fine so long as you use this name in reverence, but do try not to be so egocentric and get sucked in by your own self-promotion.

Zoroastrians called G.d, Ahura Mazda, native American tribal cultures called G.d, the Great Spirit in various native languages. Aten, in ancient Egyptian, others called G.d, El, Vishnu, Brahman, Allah and so on. All that matters is the respect and pure intent.

For the Jehovah Witness to think they alone have discovered some astonishing singular name for G.d is just more of this religions self-promoting propaganda.

There are many, many religions of equal value, Christianity being one and they each have their own name for G.d. G.d does not have a single proper name, they are all honorific names that speak to the majesty and attributes of G.d.

Only the very, very stupidly religious, disrespectful would suggest that the Creator has a proper name, because only things that are Created are given names and proper names. The Creator is above the kingdom of names.

Please try to keep up, Mr Gordon and stop using scripture to make your ignorance more glaring than it needs to be.
