I have been thinking this too on a bigger level. SPT claims to be interest free.

having said that I haven’t notice any disclaimers * saying that it’s subject to the purchaser paying off their credit card in full to avoid interest from their credit provider. That could leave a dirty taste in someone’s mouth who didn’t think that all the way through.

any way I did email SPT about the lack of this info on their website or marketing. Said they would get their lawyers to look into it.

we wouldn’t want the ACCC getting up us for saying “interest free” then some person suing because they didn’t pay off their CC balance in time. (I remember APT getting in trouble offer in the states for their lending practices and ended up doing a settlement)

if anyone has seen a disclaimer like this can’t you please post the link. It’s been one of my top things to keep an out for.
