O.K ! here's the Drum if you vote Labor you will definitely not get rid of algo trading. Like Stumacca I sent of the submission to my Local Liberal federal M.P who attempted to get the issue before a parliamentary committee.
Chris Bowen sent me a response with the usual ASX standard spiel " We know nothing ! We see nothing Bla Bla !
I dont know if the Libs will do anything about it either if they get elected but I feel we would have a much better chance of getting the issue on the agenda with them , but probably like everything else to do with the stock market we will follow the yanks so until they do something about it over there ( like the ban on shorting after the GFC ) I doubt Australia will lead the world on stamping out this corrupt practice.
