In 2020 the Endicott/Huron owners were selling the site, not sure how that went. One possible excuse would be ongoing negotiations with new/existing owners?
The old BMLP battery used a product similar to what dentists use to restore/stimulate bone growth for implants. Maybe they could say it's in short supply?
Maybe COVID could feature? They've already said it's slowed down the nego, despite nothing happening before COVID IMO. Interesting.
