Have you noticed how the two old hacks, Crean and Martin Ferguson, are the only labor members who actually articulate any common sense at all? They do not follow the Julia line of treating everyone like morons, stupid morons at that.
They do seem to put their brains in to gear before speaking at least. Julia and Swan only ever utter motherhood statements of generality, - like, "we've never had it so good", what does that mean? - and never actually address issues. Never. No wonder she and Swan are so hated.
