According to ASX listing rule 17.2. An entity that 'requests suspension' as is the case here is required to tell the ASX these 5 things:
1. Reason for the suspension.
Answer: To make an announcement
2. How long it expects the suspension to last
Answer: Not answered!
3. The event it expects to happen that will end the suspension.
Answer: Not answered!
4. That it is not aware why its securties may not be suspended.
Answer: Not detailed.
5. Any other information to inform the market about the suspension
Answer: None!
So we have just one answer to the five points. Shows you how lax the ASX is.
Not that I am worried about BRM long term, I am just appalled at how the ASX enforces its own rules.
