a farm out to a 'related' company with plenty of freebies to go along with it was an almost given imo ..... the current events, may have put a bit of a spanner in the works. everyone's onto the 'game plan' now.
I just used my crystal ball and saw what I think is going to be the next RRS announcement:
"Range secures lucrative farm out agreement"
Management are pleased to announce the farm out of the entire hydrocarbon project in Puntland. A leading tasmanian based explorer, Boss Energy, approached range with an offer to good to refuse. In summary, we will be handing over all rights to the project in exchange for some out of the money options and a fee of $100K. This was a major milestone for management. For years we had no idea about how to pull this off however in light of the recent approach, we found that rabbit. These events has also enabled us to make the decision to formally resign, collectively, as a result of lucrative offers from the Boss to continue our work in bringing the project to reality.
The 'family feel', highlighted by the share register, leads us to beleive that the sense of urgency over at the boss will be a lot higher than at range. Furthermore, it will enhance our CV's in the fields of Offshore Tax Havens and and International Law.
As a parting note, we look forward to working with the new range management team and the poor old suckers still hanging on their bits of paper. As newly appointed boss employees we will be striving to help you realise the range dream. After all, the only chance you'll have of ever seeing a minerals report or offshore JV is if someone else takes it off you and releases the announcemment themselves.
Your truly Boss Energy ... ooops Range Resources.
Ps .... we will be taking certified copies of all the various INcompetent persons reports with us. It got you all worked up at the right time for us however it will now make for a bit of good light reading while we are catching limo's to and from Flemington again this year.
