For those that have bought in a while ago (in the .003 - .005c range), LKO is now starting to reward your patience.
We all knew that gas existed in Wombat - the issue was whether it is present in commercial quantities. With new technologies now available, management must be very confident of a commercial outcome to have gone ahead with the re-testing.
The presence of oil in Friday's announcement just adds more potential (and was a great way of collecting $1m through Pattersons without sparking any sell down).
With more appraisal wells to come as a back-up, further good news from Wombat could put more heat under the SP.
