Hello vcr999,amok,coal & gas and every other reader of CNQ on HC-both positive
    and negative.
In other words I accept without rancour all opposing views on my posts-
it's good to read all opinions and makes for a healthy and lively forum.
Contrary to what some may have thought I haven't fallen asleep.
I'm a newbie and only been a holder for less than one week
and classify myself as a bit below a laymen/beginner as far as the technicalities of
resources are concerned compared to some on this forum who exhibit
    great knowledge.
Anyway as has been suggested to me by amok I am currently wading through the coy's
announcements starting in 2011 so hope to throw out for discussion my
queries from time to time as they come up.I hope you can assist.

Therefore first query off the rank(forgive if they appear dumb to those of
you who are very knowledgeable. Please bear with me as a beginner.

    "Announcement 8 Nov. 2012"
    (2012 AGM presentation)
At this date it indicated the tungsten price was US $290 per mtu
(not necessarily an average over the whole period).
and my google research showed that 1 x AUD buys US 0.964.
Converting this appears to yield AUD $301 per mtu.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fast forward to current date ie Friday 12 May 2017.
Current tungsten price I believe is around US$255 per mtu
and currently 1 x AUD buys US 0.7385.
Converting this appears to yield AUD$344 per mtu.

Acknowledging that approx. 4.5 yrs have since elapsed and other
issues/costs would have changed my question is:
"does this indicate we could be very close(price/exchange rate wise, other
factors)to soon being in a position to commencing tackling the tailings
(assuming Mitsubishi's loan or part thereof became available).
NB-this is as far as I've got in acquainting myself with CNQ.
As prev. mentioned it was only the 1 cent S/P that attracted me-not as
an investment but as a pure gamble I was willing to take. Its no problem to
me if the shares drop further off the cliff but I hope otherwise for those
long term holders still in the game.
Let me know if I've made an error in above calculations.

Thanks and good luck to all participants.
