round 2016, I may start rotation into properties after a 50% (minimum) correction. I suspect many (higher end properties) may fall 60% or more.

When you say 50% minimum do you mean in today's $ or in 2016 $?
p.s if coal CU Iron ore etc keep going up at to be a great investment so will inflation. 3-4% per year for 5 years coupled with wage growth will keep houses prices in check without the crash you are after.
Do you really think you will be able to buy a median house for around $200k in 2016 dollars in 5 years time?
Honestly, at the moment I am by no means a bull, but that is absurd.
