The Libs know they can't repeal the carbon tax and they have no intention of doing it.

Think it through its not hard.

Carbon tax starts July 1 2012, the latest date for election is November 2013, Libs can't repeal it without control of the Senate.

Double dissolution I hear you say, well that can't happen until legislation fails a couple of times so the earliest would be late 2014 early 2015.

So you're saying that Abbotts strategy (remember this is coming from a person who is currently less popular than Gillard) is that he will go to the polls promising to TAKE MONEY OF EVERYONE AND THROW BUSINESS PLANS INTO CHAOS all to repeal something that everyone no longer notices.
