The premium will last while they can continue to pay high dividends of the order of 9% gross or more. If the dividends start falling back towards 7% (or less) then the premium will reduce to effectively give a higher dividend (ie, the share price will fall to a premium that still yields about 9%). Ultimately it might reduce to par or even less. Buyers will have to weigh the possible loss of capital against the yield received.
It will be interesting to see how the new investment management arrangement pans out.
