    After becoming PM, Julia Gillard never asserted herself. Her decisions were tentative and laboured, her delivery was apologetic and even condescending; leaving the media spotlight to Tony Abbott. Her sexist-misogynist retort to Abbott's crude and insensitive speech marked a turning point.

    Abbott has never come to terms with his rejection at the 2010 election and opted to 'play the man' instead of developing policies and plans for our future. He set out to scare the pants of mainstream Australians over the CT/ETS and the MRRT during the very time the world was struggling in the aftermath of the worst economic crisis since 1929.

    Since July 1st mainstream Australians have increasingly realised Abbott's self-serving lust for power for what it is. They are NOT impressed to have been so badly deceived by one who loves to chuck mud before scurrying to London or hiding behind his wife's skirt.
