Turnbull is sensing a possible opportunity to be PM of this country in 9 months time. He's been very active since Parliament rose. He even turned up at the Woodford Folk Festival in QLD and railed against dishonest potiticians. What other Lib pollie could turn up at a hotbed of green and leftwing politics and not get booed??

Strategically, I think he should take over in April/May and then brace himself for the mother of all smear campaigns from the masters, the ALP. Look what they unleashed on Rudd, one of their own.

He is the only decent, intelligent pollie in Canberra AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. Republican, highly successful businessman and lawyer before entering politics. Has his own views on gay marriage etc. Not beholden to anybody. Makes the rest of the pollies in Canberra (esp Gillard and Co.) look like intellectual and moral midgets.
