They are very unlikely to do an acquisition funded by cap raising when the share price is at 52 week low.. I suspect it is the shorters playing with the general fear of investors to drive the share price lower. When it broke through $3.00, the shorters (aka vultures) have taken hold. Good volume today and share price recovering from the low may signal turnaround in MTR's fortunes. So far, the shorters have had a free ride. When they burn their fingers, the SP should recover very quickly
