The point is they didn't do their DD, made dangerous assumptions, found they were wrong, disapointed the market, and have now placed the project in the too-hard basket.
The only people who have done well are former IBR holders that accepted to offer and sold out immediately, and watched this train wreck from a safe distance. (i.e myself, a few astute others and the former IBR directors)
