DULL - There are NO other alternatives to Nuclear or coal fired power stations for large, base-load bulk power generation. Wind/solar/etc are too unreliable and don't generate enough power to replace coal. So if we don't want to burn coal, we must use Nuclear.
Austrlia is unique in not having nuclear stations. The rest of the world is adopting them at a huge rate.
