Barry, Although you are right about some pretty bad figures coming out (US official recession etc) in my opinion BHP already has this factored in - and then some.
The market is SO used to bad news, it's battle fatigued, it actually is starting to over-react to good news as we saw last week.
I would have to agree with mongs statement that this is merely a breather on the way to a broader recovery of the sp.
