Same story with gaps .Not all gaps get filled .General gyrations in share prices tend to automatically fill most of the closer gaps .So yes the percentage of gaps that get filled will be higher than the ones that dont .You only have to look at some charts to see that it is a fallacy that all gaps get filled .
