although that wasnt quite a backs to the wall scenario..
It doesnt seem it was so long ago that we were copping "Tea Leaf Readers" and far less charitable brandings...
There were some incredibly naive arguments from folks who were emotionally attached to a stocks FA...."averaging Downers...EEEK!"

There have been so many very clever Technical Analysts on this forum over a lot of years,the Futures Forum has been a classic source of TA insight from like minded and succesful derivatives traders,on the all ords stocks Folk like ACouch Rembrandt and Alphacenturian (so many more..forgive me) have attracted and dealt with their share of detractors with dignity and patience...

Charts have in more recent years evolved as a more acceptable complimentary resource for Traders and now we have many folks like yourself and Robbbb attracting quite a following from their benevolence...... Mate a little dramatic post (blow up) does show some acceptable frustration...

I fully agree with your "Rich man Poor mans secret" addage of Top down analysis of best sectors Trends and then best stocks in those sectors.....

then we just gotta hammer home stoplosses eh.....
