in a healthy economy i think MAK would be a 1 in 1000 propostion. i love their story, think they are sitting on a great asset. however we are living in 2009 which in 50-100 years time people will probably refer too as the 2nd great depression. plenty of stronger company's than MAK are failing in this climate, the strong are preying on the weak - they are simply the facts.
if the economy rebounds strongly in the next 6 months then MAK may have a chance of pulling something off but i rate that a 5% chance personally, my hunch is that somebody big will prey on them and grab what is probably the worlds top phosphate resource. might not even be ipl, would probably even interest bhp - but whoever it is will wait until MAK are on their knees and only offer a fraction of the true worth.
