I am gobsmacked at the current share price. I recall the company promising to keep us shareholders informed of strategic review? any update? And what about the AGM, reports in the paper indicated Media were shut out of the meeting due to 'legal reasons'. What legal reasons? Should Mr Market be informed? Further no reports of the Chairmans address were released to the market (obviously no requirement to do so).
Unfortunately Mr Shrimpton is the major shareholder and has the votes to do what he pleases.
I see VET has entered a voluntary suspension with respect to a refinancing issue. Looks like they may have an issue. Australian Career Network in suspension due to Govt funding issues (almost appears to be replicating VET). Hopefully opportunities for ASH.
I have bought as many ASH shares as I possibly can. I have checked twice under the lounge and found enough for around 10 more shares. I am long on this stock provided there are no hidden VET issues lurking that we don't know about. Presumably the royal commission issue is a storm in a tea cup and the company has a 'no surprise' half year report. Confirmation of a small dividend would also be pleasant.
