Funds lose money on individual stocks all the time. I had Peter Costello and Super Fund invest in one of mine and then sold out for a big fat loss.....There seems to be a mentality that they know more than you and therefore should be a guide...often not the case. Take a look at their annual returns....almost all are pretty woeful considering they are supposed to know so much. Australian Super is as gullible as the next if they believe the renewables story short term.
