Mr Orton says he believes direct sales of funeral and life insurance can be financially viable and legally compliant. This is in contrast to ClearView's Greg Martin, who said it was impossible to lawfully sell life insurance directly.

"Absolutely I do [in relation to legal compliance]. From a financial point of view, I do as well but there will be changes to the mdoel and that's the strategic review," Mr Orton says.

For me I can only step in to buy more if the directors buy more. Surely if its that great a bargain, some of the directors, especially those who do not currently have much direct interest, should be picking it up by the bucket load!
Any hopes of Forager buying more has dissipated with Steve Johnson's latest blog. This seems very different to the RHG mortgage book, when he kept on buying all the way down. Makes me wonder as to the value of the trail commissions?
