Whenever there is a capital raising, there are different factors at play.
In this case they were able to payout debt that was costing 9.5% interest.
In my mind that is a positive outcome as it provides improved cash flow and takes pressure off from lenders. With the improved debt profile, they should also source improved rates on remaining debt/working capital.
In the case of EHL, I see a lot of the downturn as being due to shortsellers.
