Sadly I thought this was going to be some useful fundamental analysis, instead it was just more TA garbage. Price follows company performance! Company performance does not follow price!
TA has cause and effect around the wrong way. I can see why people do it though, it requires very little work (or thought) to look at a chart and draw a few lines. Genuinely understanding a company and assessing its intrinsic value is extremely hard work and I think this deters most people and they go for the easy option...... TA.
Ok I have had my rant.
PS. I have a mathematics major, so hopefully I have some contextual understanding of bivariate data analysis.
