I watch grain prices from time to time. Also keep an eye on world pop and fear the worst. Keep asking myself:'how can wheat price be so low and near to cost of production in a world of strong demand'? Have discovered that outside of RSA most sub-saharan africans simply no longer eat bread. Either it's unavailable or too expensive, so they go without. Mind boggling to see a continent reduced to plain maize meal or green plantain. Imagine a world where 'bread is a luxury'!! It's here and now.
