Not correct.
Apple own and operate the factory that produces iMacs.
They opened it in 1980 with 60 staff. (only 5 years after Apple began)
That factory now has 4000 staff who are Apple employees.

If you read the Steve Jobs bio book, you will find that Apple had many other plants as well. Though these have since been closed and out sourced to low cost countries. But the one in Ireland remains.
