Hmmmmm. Well agreed ...not forever....but they could for a few years IF the upcoming near Tui wells drilling proves as successful as hoped.
I mean imagine if they managed to find another source of oil that could provide them with another 50 million barrels. It might take a year before they could get it on stream but it would boost production from the TUI area back up to around 40,000 bopd for a year or two.
By that stage we might well find that premier was getting into production from the Vietnam Block 07/03.....
Oh I can see it now unfolding before my eyes. With the price of oil back over US$120 a barrel......well we would be rolling in it. And don't forget that great find of oil that they are going to hit on the next drill in the Timor Block. Oh the cup runneth over.
