It could be both.
As I type this, the share price is up 18 cents, or around 7.5%, on yesterday's close. 29 cents, or around 10%, on Tuesday's close. It wouldn't surprise me to see people who jumped in at around 2.25 (14+% rise) taking some profits.
There could very well be a lot of short covering coming up, which will push it up higher - I'd like to see information on just how many shares are out there that were sold short and still haven't been covered (not sure where to look for that information; I don't really care that much, since I'm in it for the long haul.)
Expect dips and rises; I expect to see the rises - in the long term - to be greater than the dips, but the ride will be rough, especially in the short term. I'm hopeful that we've seen the bottom, though.
