You can, and will, unless you take your losses as well.

Plenty of people have gone broke taking profits, because they have NOT also taken their losses.

Holding profits and taking losses is the only way to keep your hard earned!!
Taking profits and keeping losses practically guarantees going broke.

I hate taking profits, and only do it when absolutely necessary, and usually for one reason only, ie. I need the money for something else. I've taken plenty of losses, its not easy, but I try to be ruthless when I am wrong.
