DSH 2: Entrance like a closed nightclub, sticky tape hanging off walls paint peeling. Bigger store, 4 staff I could see but two were messing with displays. Didn't get approached. Tried to sell me some stuff with the 'supplier raising prices soon' line. Better knowledge and a coupe of other customers, limited stock on floor and said they didn't have more out back but lots of new stock on order. Staff livelier (with each other), but still not happy.

went into JBH to compare. Great staff, very helpful, one girl was singing and skipping. Only a couple of other customers still. More stock, more eye catching displays, happy staff.

Conclusion: Didn't invest as felt they were under motivated and underinvesting, if no understaffed for current WA economy. Customer numbers were bad everywhere, so can't conclude anything based on a small WA sample.

Got back into CCP instead.

Er.. retail staff are known for drug taking (I used to work in retail). And yes, small sample in a state which is is an economic black hole. I always found Jb-Hi staff to be stuck up hipsters with the place half filled with CD's and DVD's? I thought we was in a digital age.

Recently went to Dicks here in Melbourne, awesome service and fresh clean, modern store. If AGM reveals a profit downgrade, I will execute my stop loss as I bought in low.
