Please do not aplologise for the long post, I wish it was longer. I'm trying to learn as much as I can and the Elliot Wave stuff is something I have only heard of but have not examined as yet.

Looks like you timed everything right back in November and December.

I only started trading in Sep 2003 and have had ups and downs but all in all I'm way ahead from what I would have expected. Although my profits may not impress seasoned traders they are keeping me in the game and I think I can only get better.

I want to short because there are many many times where I know a stock is going down but there's nothing I can do about it. Some people have said that Rivkin has a brokerage house that lets you short but I don't have the details. If anyone knows how I can short sell here in Australia then please tell me.

I think I'll need to open an account that lets me play US stocks if I want the freedom to short stocks. Then I've got all the forex things to put into the calculations as well.
