I'm uncertain at this stage.
I did not quite expect this downturn after the 12/11/20 announcement.
However, from looking around and speaking to some people it's like this single line is what has done it.
"At this stage we do not envisage the first half result to be materially different to our substantial first half FY20 performance."
On the back of what was otherwise a positive announcement in every way, it seems the suggestion of 'no growth' in H1-2021, has caused a heavy reaction. I don't think COVID or a Vaccine will really have any tangible impact on DTL's business. So while I personally expect some recovery, the stock market does what the stock market wants.
There was also some suggestion that some stocks have been dumped at a profit to free up money to buy other more opportunistic stocks (re: Vaccine). Either by bots or large parties. Further contributing to the dive.
I'm no expert though, but I'm certainly disappointed.
