Definately bottom of the input cycle. Inventories should be cleared and buying is now back to hand to mouth. Could be some last minute glyphosate pushed through the books of farmers pre-June 30 though am hearing a strong bias towards FMDs (farm mangement deposits). Post emergent sales will provide strength because there are no inventories in farmers' sheds and everyone at this early stage is looking at reasonable crops at least here in Oz.
Agree M+A activity should begin to emerge in the agriculture sector ... though expect that activity to come from BRIC nations. Disappointing result but the market will look forward once this is digested.
