(no intention here to discuss $$ and range fear etc as all that will be sorted in time and gets nowhere).
But I do see future EV's as being a throw away when the future 'fitted for life' batteries fail (I do not see any battery changes as tech improves) .... people seem happy with that concept for more and more items provided that the 'life' is somehow acceptable (and I see <20 years atm for cars). So in that respect I see 2nd hand EV's as also depreciating rapidly (which will ironically accelerate the technological advances as well).
I reckon new car buyers have just closed their wallets to any spending - so not ICE related.
