eagle888, it shouldn't be changed. To allow foreign citizens would be a very retrograde step. People with dual nationality can and do have divided loyalties which may impact upon their decision making. We need to protect ourselves from foreign influence including foreign donations. As a voter, I like to know that those in charge have a lesser chance of divided loyalties and if they make a mess of it, well maybe they won't piss off to Country B when they're done stuffing this place up.
