excellent post Damien.... today...lame stream media at it again....several articles in the age ...the same theme...median Melb price too high...blah blah blah none of the journalists alert the babes to prices in the outer suburbs.....is that because the babes are not interested in living out there one would be buyer, is threatening to leave OZ and go to Britain.....boo hoo
another article blames the boomers again.....racist article oh, and boomers are to blame for just about everything....another article, boomers are renovating their houses, instead of spending money building new or more homes.... for goodness sake....I think it is smarter to renovate and extend my props, my home, in this current climate....
then we have this....instead of spending money to build new public housing, the vic govnuts would rather pay up to 800 pw on a fancy unit or motel to house these people....
you should be blaming both state and federal govnuts, for not releasing land and increasing the housing base....
