If there have been such events ( and there have actually been millions of them) how did they happen because we were not putting out loads of CO2 then?

Why oh why don't people simply look back at history to see how crazy their assumptions on weather events are today?

Just a few weather events in the last 2000 years.

So why will all of these types of events suddenly stop when a CO2 tax appears?
