To a certain extent I empathise with you as it has been the volume issue that has made it such a hard road for Gip on the asx imo.It has been virtually muscled up by the UK with little opportunity for a short term trade profit.

I have no doubt that this is why there is a certain amount of angst against this stock on HC considering the preponderance of daytraders present here.

By the same token I think this attitude will change over time if we see the expected developments.

It is surprising,even to me,that it is not trading much more volume on the asx atm.But there is really only one conclusion that can be gleaned form this.That being current holders arnt willing to release much of their stock for profit taking until they see further possible developments.

I have my suspicions as to who is feeding the market at 16/17c but I have said previously that I do not wish to tread on any toes in this regard as they were willing to have the faith to take a large position in Gip a while back.

Btw for your info and Blackoils,if he is reading,this broker DOES think the current management has the ability to bring this all together to a successful conclusion.

They are not averse to a risky play either as they took a substantial postion in avl early in the piece and helped that stock on its way,eventually.

I look forward to a time when Gip can indeed give you guys more of a chance to make some money out of it.However it appears to be so conservatively fundamental atm that your idea of a buy further up when there is more volume may be a better line of attack.
