HUI is starting to look like it’s putting in a bottom here (although not conclusive just yet). It has gained a little over the last three days in the lead up to the anticipated Fed decision on tapering tonight (supposedly bearish). I still think there’s a reasonable chance it rallies after the QE taper is announced- as long as the size of the taper or accompanying speech does not surprise. Or we might expect a sharp bounce higher if tapering is delayed. I think a fall after the descision is looking less likely, but of course I could be proven wrong. It’s always a game of odds. It would be difficult to believe tapering is not factored in by now.
