I am using a margin loan now. Funny thing is I have had a margin loan account through the boom but never made one trade in it ... too scared!!! I was waiting for the bust, and knew that a margin loan would have been too dangerous.
Now that the markets have crashed, I have started using it to trade ... carefully! All short term stuff, and taking profits as they arise. So far that account is up 65% since December 15 when I first started using it.
I am very careful with it & always have at least 30% in cash at all times.
