I haven't followed the drugs story too closely believing it to be a storm in a tea cup and driven mainly by a rabid media desperate for a footy story to sell papers. But, having read a bit more about it recently, I have to agree with Steve Butler in the West that if Essendon are claiming the drug they were taking wasn't performance enhancing, then why were they taking it? Anyway the gist of it is I reckon their going to lose match points. And it will have to be this year, not next. There will be too much pressure for it to just be draft picks. Anyone got any guesses? Possibly ruled out for the year and given the wooden spoon? I don't hate essendon incidentally but I reckon their screwed this year.
