It depends on the next vote entirely. If Merchants win and JR has to buy 1-pg platform... or it remains in the hands of the 1-pg shell one might suggest the value of the tech is worth more than the change-over costs and the outgoing directors golden handshakes that they've set up for themselves.
This appears to be be the ideal, keep the tech, shelve it until the immediate storm dies down, then put it on market to one of the other HR companies.
I'd be interested to hear some educated guesses as to what the tech might be worth to another playerwithout JR and co attached.
I'm not in at the moment, but if the above scenario were to occur, I'd be pretty damn close to punting on Merchants spec ability + the tech sale value + cash being greater than 35 mill.
